Water colour EXCEL BeeSafe 3L, HYBRID ELASTOMER is a color that paints and insulates the hive at the same time. It is of high quality with main features:

• HYBRID Elastomer
• Heat protectant
• Heat reflective
• Excellent resistance to rain and moisture
• Creates a waterproof elastic film, highly resistant to rain, snow, strong sun, sudden temperature changes, moisture and chemical pollution.
• Easy cleaning of the hive from dirt – dirt.

SHADES: White, crocus, poppy, green and blue.

• Also, a variety of other shades can be reproduced, either by mixing the product with 15% with basic plastics, or by coloring it with one of the usual coloring systems.

instructions for use

PREPARATION-APPLICATION:

• New Cell:
• Where needed, stick the hive with Crystallized EXCEL Wood Glue and fine sawdust.
• Then we prime the surfaces of the cell with Micronized Water Primer EXCEL-colors. I use the primer undiluted and it dries in 2-6 hours depending on the weather conditions.
• Then we dilute the Hybrid Elastomer ExceI-Colors 15%-20% with water and pass all the joints and corners. Let it dry for 24 hours.
• Apply the first coat to the entire hive with the same dilution and let it dry for 12-24 hours depending on the weather conditions.
• We pass the second hand over the entire cell (For adverse conditions it would be good to pass a third hand).

If we want to apply linseed oil, we must use a dryer and then we will leave the cell to dry for 2-3 days before applying the Micronized Water Primer.

Old Beehives: Rub the beehive well and then paint like the new beehives.

DRYING

• The second coating is applied after 12-24 hours depending on weather conditions.
• Be careful the drying times are long so that the first coat has time to dry well and to avoid possibly incorporating the second coat into the first coat and essentially being like a single pass.

• 0.75Lt covers 5-7m2 in 2 layers.

CLEANING TOOLS

• Clean your tools immediately after use, with water and detergent, after removing most of the material from you.
