Grape presses have their use after the grapes have been broken (pressed).

I place the broken (pressed) grape inside the grape press to collect the last juices of the grape.

The dry residue that remains after the juice is extracted from the grapes is also useful.

It can be used to provide the distillate to produce other kinds of alcoholic beverages.
