The liquids to be transferred must be
- neutral
- clear
- contain only a small percentage of suspended solids (maximum 0.2 – 0.5 %) with hardness and particle size characteristics.
So the liquids do not cause damage to the internal friction surfaces of the pump.
- In extreme cases it may be necessary to fit a filter with a tight mesh in the suction pipe
