way of use

 

  • After thoroughly rinsing the barrel and removing the sludge, you can start the disinfection.
  • Boil the amount of water corresponding to the number of BARIL A lozenges you will use.
  • Add the hot water into the barrel.
  • Then you add the number of BARIL A lozenges you will need, after you have powdered them. Shake the barrel well to dissolve the lozenge.
  • You turn it on each side of the barrel every quarter of an hour.
  • In total, the minimum residence time of the solution in the barrel is 3 hours.
  • When finished, empty the contents. If the lozenge solution comes out too dark, with many impurities, you will repeat in the same way.
  • Proper disinfection has been done when the BARIL A solution comes out reddish after washing.
  • Then rinse the barrel with a little cold water.
  • You add the ratio of water corresponding to the capacity of your keg. Pulverize the B BARREL(S) you need.
  • Shake the barrel and leave the solution for a quarter of an hour on each side.
  • Empty the contents, rinse with a little water.
  • Once the barrel is drained you can fill it with must or wine.
